Successfully build, but doesn't run

I am having some issues with the ROM. I managed to build it but when I put it on any emulator it doesn't do anything (black screen). I tried on a real SNES too via SD2SNES and it's the same thing. I am using bsnes+. When I run bsnes+accuracy i get a picture of a green tinted doorway with a green tinted light. But controls are unresponsive.

I was wondering if maybe you could add a bit more info on how to run it. Or maybe I am doing something wrong.

Your not doing anything wrong. I just tried to compile it and had the same problem.

It looks like cc65 v2.18 broke the MVN and MVP instructions for my code (see this issue report for more details).

I'll see about updating all my 1gam SNES games to the new MVN syntax at some later date, but it will be next week at the earliest.

For now, you should be able to successfully compile Castle Platformer on cc65 v2.17.
