pcap: what is the GlobalHeader.Network field? #40

It's a uint32... what does this number represent?
Last time I looked at the pcap savefile spec I seem to remember it wasn't really a uint32 at all; it represented something to do with the packet's link layer, and its fields happened to be 4 bytes long (which fits in a uint32).
