This work was done in collaboration with PingCAP.
The DiffKV' s main design, that is, level merge and range merge, has been implemented in PingCAP's Titan.
You can learn about the specific design in Titan by reading Titan's documentation :)

Are you saying that the current Titan version is doing the same as DiffKv ? Meaning categorizing keys by their sizes etc...

I think the level merge, range merge are supported in the current Titan version. However, Titan just uses min_blob_size to devide key-values into two parts, and small key-values will not be separate. In DiffKV, we use min_blob_size and mid_blob_size to devide key-values into three parts. In fact, I think Titan just support the level merge and range_merge.
