[REPO] Stop tracking generated PDF reports under `output/pdf` and document artifact storage

Summary

The repository currently tracks generated PDF reports under output/pdf, which is repo noise and makes it harder to distinguish source from output artifacts.

Scope

• Remove tracked generated report artifacts from the normal source tree.
• Decide where sample outputs, if any, should live instead.
• Document the policy for generated scan/report artifacts.

Acceptance criteria

• Generated PDF reports are no longer tracked as normal source artifacts.
• Any intentionally retained samples have an explicit home and rationale.
• Contributor docs explain where runtime outputs belong.

I have reviewed the requirements and understand that the goal is to stop tracking generated PDF reports under output/pdf, clean up repository artifacts, and document the expected location for generated outputs.

My approach would be to:

• Remove generated PDF artifacts from source tracking.
• Update .gitignore and related configuration if required.
• Ensure sample outputs (if needed) have a dedicated documented location.
• Update contributor documentation regarding runtime-generated reports and artifacts.

I will follow the existing project structure and contribution guidelines.

Hi Mentors! I'm a GSSoC '26 contributor. I see that generated PDF reports are causing repository noise. I can fix this quickly by adding the appropriate paths to the .gitignore file and removing the existing tracked artifacts from the index if needed. Please assign this issue to me!
