CPU temperature to 99.

Configuration

• UTM Version: 4.6.4
• macOS Version: 15.3.2
• Mac Chip (Intel, M1, ...): Intel i9

Does not matter which type of VM I install..when VM works a lot. For example apt update, or apt upgrade... temperature goes to 99.

Now that VM is idle temperature is 72 in average. I am opening this issue using the Debian 11 Xfce from gallery.

I have tested with one x85 Ubuntu 14 from the gallery and no temperature problem. Seems just ARM over my intel i9.

so intel i9 isnt the best for this job .

With the intel i9 I am facing the same issue I had with Big Sur. I didn't use UTMapp on those times.. But...had the same issue I have now, but with Big Sur running on intel i9. The MacBook went to 100 until Apple came with a fix to the OS.

by accident found the problem. but no idea how to solve it. I worked with an ARM image again and temperature going high...
I used to connect to power the Mac at home. Now I am in another house, few days on vacations..and to avoid any accident with the cordI am on batteries... and when I plug the cord in...the temperature goes 100! but if I disconnect it it goes down again....
So I am on batteries now and all is fine.
