Is it possible to add support for Synaptics, Inc. Prometheus MIS Touch Fingerprint Reader #218

Hi. I've recently installed Manjaro on my X390 Thinkpad which has the Synaptics, Inc. Prometheus MIS Touch Fingerprint Reader. I know it's a long short but sometime in the future, is adding the support for this possible?
When I run python-validity, I get the error for no valid devices found.
