Hello
Until recently, the sensor was working fine, but now stopped.

At first, the service starts normally.
But after

fprintd-enroll
list_devices failed: Could not activate remote peer ‘net.reactivated.Fprint’: startup job failed

The service crashes

sudo systemctl status python3-validity

python3-validity.service: Scheduled restart job, restart cou>
python3-validity.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
python3-validity.service: Failed with result ‘exit-code’.
Failed to start python-validity driver dbus service.
sudo validity-sensors-firmware

sudo python3 /usr/share/python-validity/playground/factory-reset.py

Didn't help.

Perhaps the problems started after updating the system. In addition, I recently had to disassemble my laptop, including disconnecting the fingerprint sensor. Maybe that had an effect? I don't know.
But in lsusb
Bus 001 Device 011: ID 138a:0097 Validity Sensors, Inc.
The sensor is displayed normally, so it's unlikely to be a hardware problem.

What can I do?
Arch Linux
Python 3.14.2
python-validity 0.15-1 from aur

UPD:
I also found this

Downgrading libfprint didn't help, nor did the solutions from here
