Yes, the GitHub action vmactions/openbsd-vm used in "OpenBSD CI" is (very) slow... and unfortunately, OpenBSD is not known for being fast as OS :(

I have a solution by replacing the GH action vmactions/openbsd-vm by cross-platform-actions/action: run an OpenBSD VM, faster and more reliable.

I will update the "OpenBSD CI" with this action and an improved shell script. Please let me do this work to refactor the "OpenBSD CI".

It seems like you are trying things to optimize "OpenBSD CI" without having the precise knowledge about this OS...

Recently, some errors occurs in "OpenBSD CI" (also in "FreeBSD CI") but not trapped by error code => run is OK (statut GREEN) but abort after a quick run :(

I'm working on it:

• fix errors in lint, build and tests on FreeBSD and OpenBSD
• fix FreeBSD / OpenBSD CI to abort run with errors
• when these errors will be fixed, improve FreeBSD and OpenBSD CI to run (I hope) faster.
