Size of firmware

Just curious - how we can flash firmware with size 6491440 bytes to ESP32 C3, which contains only 4194304 bytes of flash? Or in Xteink was used some uncommon C3?

Wanted to flash C3 with CrossInk (ESP32-C3 mini), and change it with C3 in reader.

I doubt the ESP32 that is targeted by CrossInk/CrossPoint is a ESP32-C3. You probably have 8MB of flash in 2 partitions, vs the targeted 16MB ("16 MB of flash partitioned as 6.25 + 6.25 + 3.4 (two identical firmware partitions + reserved)" per CrossPoint).
