This release brings compatibility to the X4 Pro.

I'd appreciate help verifying the following:

• All UI components are touch-friendly on X4 Pro/Sticky devices
• All Quick Action items launch as expected
• X3/X4 devices do not display any touch-only related UI elements
• Power + Up button combo shortcuts work as expected

Changes in RC-3

• You can now set a schedule for when the X4 Pro's frontlight is enabled when you turn the device on in Settings > Display > Frontlight > Schedule. When this is set to ON, the device will automatically turn on the frontlight when you wake the device if the current time is between your defined Start and End time. Both times need to be set for this to take effect.
• Added option to Restore Light on Wake in Settings > Display > Frontlight.
• Adds two-finger swipe gesture settings in Settings > Controls > Taps & Gestures > Two-finger Swipe. The allowed shortcut list right now is intentionally limited. I'm open to adding more in the future, but for a first pass I want to limit it to make testing and verification a bit easier.
• When inside the reader, use two fingers to rotate the screen orientation. Rotate your fingers in the direction you want the screen to rotate. Hint: rotate at least 90° and try to keep one finger stationary. You can also place two fingers on the screen and physically rotate the screen instead.
• On touch devices: Tap to show/hide the bottom status bar
• New separate setting for top/bottom and left/right margins. Adjustable from 5-150.
• Power button no longer acts as the escape hatch if you've disabled the touchscreen. The implication is that users are now responsible for designating the appropriate shortcut to exit a disabled touchscreen. The benefit is that you can now use your designated power button shortcut. (fixes X4 Pro: Power button doesnt work as intended when touchscreen in disabled #542)
• Setting options in Quick Action should only require one tap now (fixes Options require two taps to select in quick actions option menu on X4 Pro #550)
• File Transfer should no longer crash on X4 Pro (fixes X4 Pro - System Crash while connecting to local netowork #553)
• Quick Actions set with the long-press power button shortcut triggers after duration instead of release now (fixes Quick menu pop up in home screen only after release of long press #552)
• Certain Quick Action shortcuts should no longer open the reader menu after being triggered (fixes Toggle Bookmark in Quick Action back to Reading Menu #554)
• Screen refresh shortcut on X4 does a HALF_REFRESH (single flash) instead of FULL_REFRESH (multiple flashes) again (fixes Refresh Screen - Screen flashes to much #557)
• X4 now gets a HALF_REFRESH(single flash) on wake to help with ghosting (fixes Ghosting on start up #558)
• EPUBs with thousands of TOC items should no longer crash (fixes Crash every time I open "Select Chapter" #565)
• Preview text of clippings should display the entire clipping now (fixes Clipping does not display complete text in menu #566)
• Ellipses highlight properly when clipped (fixes Clipping does not highlight correctly for horizontal elipsis (U+2026) #568)

New

• Full touch support for Xteink X4 Pro
• New Quick Actions menu where you can set 5 shortcuts accessible via any of the shortcut buttons. Settings > Controls > Quick Actions
• The Power + Up button combo can now be assigned to a shortcut. Get to it from Settings > Controls > Power button > Power + Up
• New Quick Lock shortcut for locking the device without actually putting it to sleep. This disables all buttons (and the touchscreen) and must be unlocked with the same button shortcut.

Changed

• Fonts now display their installed point sizes next to their name (addresses Same font in multiple sizes does not work intuitively #491)
• The boot-up splash screen has been removed. You will now wake directly to your last screen
• Mark as Finished and Controls have been moved to the third tab (settings gear icon) in the reader menu
• Wi-Fi passwords are now shown while entering them.

Fixed

• Flashing when accessing Wi-fi related activities (fixes [FIXED - FIRMWARE ATTACHED] - Screen flash when access Wifi network  #495)
• Landscape dictionary navigation (fixes orientation aware does not work within look up #493)
• Enables touch on end-of-book suggestions (The menu in the next book doesn’t work on the touchscreen. #496)
• Improve loading of custom dictionary font (fixes Dictionary font falls back to book font #501)
• XTC table of contents getting cut off (fixes TOC only showing 128 pages in every .xtc manga #494)
• Inaccurate clipping/highlights after font/font-size changes (fixes Clippings are wrongly rendered after font size change or font change #492)

• Improved table rendering for large, complicated tables (fixes Tables in some books do not render. #506)
• Some data missing after lightweight network restarts (fixes Same defect as #421 in RECENT_BOOKS and KOREADER_STORE — and reproducible on hardware #512)
• Battery drain on Seeed Sticky (fixes Battery drain on Seeed Sticky #516)
• Empty crash report after flashing due to false watchdog error
• Custom sleep-image folders load faster and rebuild correctly after file changes.
• Quick Resume no longer shows a blank page after EPUB next-chapter indexing (fixes Quick Resume shows blank screen #535).
• Large EPUBs with thousands of chapters should now finish indexing more reliably on X3/X4 without running out of memory.

Tip

If you experience any problems, please clear your caches before opening an issue. Start with the least invasive and work your way down to the most invasive if problems persist after each step.

1. Delete book cache (In-reader menu > Delete book cache)
2. From your SD card: Delete the individual .crosspoint/epub_<hash> folder for the book giving you issues
3. Delete all reading cache (Settings > System > Files & Cache > Clear Reading Cache)
4. From your SD card: Delete ALL .crosspoint/epub_<hash> folders and recent.json and state.json
5. Back up your global_stats.bin and then delete the entire .crosspoint/ folder

I didn't see any touch-only elements on my X3, and I set Power + up to refresh and that's what it did. Hope this helps!
