Wondering if it is possible to write a style/rule that checks for the *existence* of ALT text

I know it is now possible to do a style check of ALT text, but I'm hoping to have a warning when there is an image (in markdown) that has an empty or missing ALT text field.

If you use scope: raw you can write rules that target the underlying raw markup. So, something like

message: "'%s' does not have an alt text."
level: warning
scope: raw
raw:
  - '!\[\]\(.+\)'

should work.
