[Idea] External access for Valkey

Problem Statement

Valkey components should be accessible from outside the Kubernetes cluster.

Issue first raised below:

• (feat) External access for ValkeyCluster (externalAccess.type: None | LoadBalancer | Ingress; maybe Proxy in future) #58

This thread is for discussing the requirements, and potential implementations.

• LoadBalancer?
• Ingress? (GatewayAPI?)

When considering this, might be worth options for TLS termination at this point. There is a requirement to have different encryption for client traffic to internal for example. See also here : valkey-io/valkey#3403 (comment)
