  • Welcome Guide: a Layouts page, and the counts that had gone stale The guide has seven pages now — Layouts is the third, naming each of the seven window layouts in the order Super+Tab walks them, beside the keys that jump straight to tiling and cascade and the control-panel row that names all seven. Four pages were still counting from an earlier desktop: Architecture and synui said five layouts (there are seven), Home and Keybindings said six pages. The Desktop's own Layouts section now points at the guide.

  • Document what 0.2.9.4 added, and fix what it made wrong New page: **Welcome Guide** — Super+Escape, the six pages, synui-welcome's verbs, the live key column, turning it off, and why it is a process of its own rather than a window in the bar. Linked from Home and the sidebar. Corrected, because these were stale rather than merely thin: - Keybindings: Super+Escape was documented as "Menu". Super+/ is a hotkey MANAGER now — unbound actions and installed applications, not only what already has a chord. Theme count was thirteen and is fifteen; Prism and Prism Light, which is what a fresh install actually boots into, were not in the list. - Bar Plugins: the two headline numbers were both wrong. qs.Ui is 27 implemented types, not two — and that matters, because a QML property that does not resolve is zero, so a widget written against the fuller module went on, reported itself enabled and drew nothing (9 of 40 community widgets resolved before, 39 do now). `browse` reaches around nine hundred widgets from the community registry, not the five shipped here. Plus refresh/order/check, panels and services being hosted once per session, and the bar menu's own Plugins section. - Gaming: MANGOHUD=1 is no longer exported for the session, with the reason — the layer segfaults Vulkan clients on AMD and never on NVIDIA, so it is a crash that follows the graphics card rather than the program. `syn game` is the launcher throughout. A GeForce NOW section: what the Electron client cannot do, measured, and why the browser is the client. - Big Screen: the Recent bar (the DESKTOP's list, kept by the compositor at the one moment every launch has in common), the wheel, the GFN tile. - The Desktop: nine widgets, not four — the analog clock and its four faces, and the music card. And the font is one setting for the whole desktop with fifteen typefaces shipped to pick from. - Settings: naming the machine. Every install answers to `synapse`, so two on one network and Avahi renames one with no say in which. - Commands: synui-welcome, syn-gfn, `syn game`, `synctl binds`, `synctl recent`, synui-plugins' refresh/order/check. - Troubleshooting: "MangoHud never appears" had one reason and now has two, the new one first. Checked: synui/tests/readme_binds.sh passes against Keybindings.md (73 default binds), and no internal wiki link is broken.
