Simple text viewer within Ventoy?

I’m someone who tries out quite a few Linux (and other OS) live distributions—partly to stay better informed about the current state of things, and partly because doing so can sometimes provide inspiration, including ideas for customizing my own desktop and its content. Of course, there are many other reasons as well.

That said, Ventoy is really a huge help right now, with all its features and options. But there’s still one feature I’m missing.

WHAT:

A simple text viewer that displays any text files. (I am aware of the fact that the devil is in the details here, because of all the existing encodings, etc. But maybe a hard-coded text encoding would suffice as a first step? Later, it could be designed like vi or other text editors.)

WHY:

Why this suggestion?

Many distributions have specific usernames and passwords. It’s impossible to remember them all. So you store them in a text file alongside the image. And this is exactly where this feature can be very helpful before actually booting an image.
