Unable to update from cpe:/o:opensuse:tumbleweed:20240131 with download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/ repository added due to absence of './noarch/libfido2-udev-1.14.0-50.1.noarch.rpm'. #1303

Description

@RokeJulianLockhart
  1. Expected behavior

    I should be able to update my installation of cpe:2.3:o:opensuse:tumbleweed:20240131:*:*:*:*:*:*:* when performing sudo zypper dup.

  2. Observed behavior

    I am unable to, because

    Retrieving: libfido2-udev-1.14.0-50.1.noarch.rpm .................................................................................................................................................................................................................[not found]
    File './noarch/libfido2-udev-1.14.0-50.1.noarch.rpm' not found on medium 'https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/'

    appears.

  3. Steps to reproduce

    1. Invoke sudo zypper dup. It returns:

      File './noarch/libfido2-udev-1.14.0-50.1.noarch.rpm' not found on medium 'https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/'

    2. zypper lr -u returns:

      18 | security | Security tools (openSUSE_Tumbleweed) | Yes | (r ) Yes | No | https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/security/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/

    3. zypper pa -ir 18 (https://superuser.com/a/65582/904401) returns:

      S  | Repository                           | Name               | Version        | Arch
      ---+--------------------------------------+--------------------+----------------+-------
      i+ | Security tools (openSUSE_Tumbleweed) | veracrypt          | 1.26.7-1.5     | x86_64

    4. I would have liked zypper se -i --requires-pkg 'libfido2-udev' (https://stackoverflow.com/a/69362487/9731176) to have worked to verify that this is an issue with this package, but because it appears to have been drawn in as a dependency during the update, this was the best I could narrow it — to this package. I apologize if this filing is consequently inaccurate.
