tldr;
Opensource self-hosted eve agents runtime: https://github.com/evelandhq/eveland
and here is the story:
Hey,
I was really excited when seeing eve agent for the first time - 3 month ago. Exactly the same excitement when I see Next.js 8 years ago. As someone trying to deploy agents inside company after using OpenClaw, Hermes, mastra, pandatic...I believe eve is the perfect shape to develop and deploy agents in a company.
However, there is one issue - do I really have to deploy all my agents to Vercel? I quickly found that we are running dozens of agents inside company, and most of the agents accessing self-hosted services, like finance backend or services inside cooperate network.
So...I said - why not self hosted? the story begins. and here is what you see:
bwrapsandbox instead of docker to maximize server ultilizationSome screenshot:
We have use eveland hosting ~20 agents on a 4core 16GB machine internally for over 2 month, and we enjoy it. We couldn't believe that the "old" days - leaving laptop lid opened in office running hermes/openclaw and worrying about the next version will break... Now with eveland + eve agents, we have a stable, tracable, controllable infrastructure. Vercel is great. And eveland is to help.
Hope it help you as well.
