I'm sharing VisitorPing, built with Next.js 16 and React 19. It shows website visitors in a live dashboard and has an iPhone companion for visitor notifications, so a website owner can check activity away from their desk.

One implementation detail that may be useful to others building analytics for App Router sites: a page-view tracker needs to handle client-side navigation, not just the initial document load. VisitorPing's tracker listens to
popstateand wraps bothhistory.pushStateandhistory.replaceState. It deduplicates against the current pathname, andreplaceStateonly triggers a page view when the pathname changes. That means changing a filter in the query string does not count as a new page in this implementation. If query parameters represent distinct pages in your application, that is a different tracking policy to decide explicitly. The iPhone download is free, but it requires a VisitorPing account and website setup. The service has a 14-day trial; paid plans start at $19/month. This is a product showcase, not an open-source release. The homepage's interactive example is simulated demonstration data.
For people running small websites: would you use an alert for each arrival, or mainly want alerts for particular pages or return visits? Concrete examples would help us understand where immediate notifications are useful.
