License? #1

Hello. I saw the issue where this was raised for consideration to be part of the Forge build system and that it didn't go anywhere at the time.

I'm essentially nobody (especially in relation to Forge), but if I wanted to try to push for this to become a part of Forge properly (by continuing to develop it to the point where it's just a clean merge request that they can cleanly and effortlessly merge if approved), would I be able to use your work as a basis for that? (Or, alternately, publish something automated through a custom Flatpak source with no official blessing from the Forge team, if they continue to ignore it but don't hate the idea.)

Forge itself is GPL-3, was wondering if you would be willing to throw up a license as well, whether it be GPL or MIT or something else entirely? I just wanted to check on that possibility before even thinking about putting any work in with this as the base.

Thank you for the work in any case. Even if this never becomes anything official, I love having access to the Flatpaks for myself on Bluefin (immutable/atomic distro, though I prefer Flatpaks in any context and they make perfect sense for Forge).
