RGB works only partially

I just flashed Vial onto my Liatris controller with the splitkb.com Sofle v2. The keys work fine, the only issue I see is that only 3 of the under-board LEDs work, and only on the right split. The under-key LEDs do not work at all. Is there a chance that this is something that I can enable with software, or is it rather broken hardware? I just flashed Vial onto the microcontroller, and that's all I have done until now.
