Potential Article 80 exposure under Romanian Law 8/1996

I've been reviewing Sober's legal positioning and wanted to flag a concern regarding the interoperability defense under Romanian copyright law.

The issue: Article 80 of Law 8/1996 states that the decompilation/interoperability exception in Article 78 does not apply if it "prejudices the copyright owner or the normal exploitation of the program." Roblox has actively committed to preventing WINE/Proton use on Linux (public statements, technical blocks, anti-cheat measures). This isn't a case of a vendor simply not supporting a platform — it's an active business decision to exclude it.

Why this matters for Sober: If Roblox can demonstrate that Linux compatibility via interoperability layers undermines their legitimate business interests, a Romanian court could rule that Article 78 doesn't protect Sober at all. The current notice.txt frames interoperability as automatically protected without acknowledging this limitation.

Suggested consideration: Adding explicit language acknowledging the Article 80 risk, or at minimum clarifying that the interoperability defense is conditional and contested. Happy to discuss further if useful.

Thanks, we'll look into it. Generally if Roblox were to target us specifically, we'd be cooked in many other ways. We're relying on Roblox's good faith to keep the project going :) Thanks for taking the time though
