Die Spracherkennung reagiert nicht. Prüfe, ob du der App die Mikrofon-Berechtigung erteilt hast, und ob das Sprachmodell für deine Sprache bereits heruntergeladen ist (siehe „Funktionen: Offline-Spracherkennung“).
Die erste Antwort kommt nicht an (Timeout). Der Standardwert für die erste Antwort (First Token) beträgt 30 Sekunden. Bei langsamen Modellen erhöhe das Zeitfenster in den Einstellungen auf bis zu 1 Minute.
Ich sehe „Primärmodell nicht erreichbar…“. Das Primärmodell war nicht erreichbar; die App hat automatisch das Fallback-Modell versucht. Nutze „Erneut senden“, wenn die Nachricht nicht durchging, oder prüfe Modellwahl und API-Key.
Der Modell-Download ist groß. Jedes Sprachmodell benötigt rund 57 MB – einmalig. Lade es am besten im WLAN herunter.
Wie wechsle ich die Erkennungssprache? Die Erkennung folgt der UI-Sprache der App. Stelle die App-Sprache auf Deutsch oder English um – das aktive Modell wechselt ohne Download und ohne Neustart.
Wie richte ich einen zweiten Bot ein? Lege in den Einstellungen einen weiteren Bot an: Server-URL mit Profil-Prefix (/p/<botname>/v1/chat/completions), eigenem API-Key und eigener Modellwahl. Wechsle Bots über das Topbar-Dropdown.
Ich bekomme keine Benachrichtigung bei fertiger Antwort. Die Benachrichtigung erscheint nur, wenn die App im Hintergrund läuft. Prüfe zusätzlich die Benachrichtigungs-Berechtigung für HermiVoice.
Warum warnt die App bei meiner http://-Adresse? http:// überträgt Daten unverschlüsselt; die Warnung erscheint bei Adressen außerhalb deines lokalen Netzes. Verwende https:// über einen Reverse-Proxy – oder eine lokale IP, wenn du im Heimnetz bleibst.
Mein Chat-Verlauf ist nicht da. Das Gateway ist die Quelle der Wahrheit, die App synchronisiert sich im Vordergrund alle 20 Sekunden. Warte kurz oder öffne die Session erneut. Beim Löschen wird der Verlauf auch über die Server-API entfernt (DELETE /api/sessions/{id}).
Wie sichere ich meine Konfiguration? Über das Konfig-Backup: Die komplette Konfiguration wird als passphrase-verschlüsseltes JSON (AES-256-GCM) exportiert und kann auf einem anderen Gerät wiederhergestellt werden.
Wann kommt der Wakeword-Modus („hey hermi“)? Der Wakeword-Modus ist architektonisch vorbereitet, aber noch nicht aktiv. Sobald er freigeschaltet ist, erfährst du es hier.
Ich habe meinen API-Key vergessen. API-Keys werden in der App verschlüsselt gespeichert – ein Auslesen ist nicht vorgesehen. Trage den Key einfach neu ein oder erzeuge im Gateway einen neuen.
Speech recognition does not respond. Check whether you granted the app microphone permission, and whether the speech model for your language is already downloaded (see „Features: Offline Speech Recognition“).
The first answer does not arrive (timeout). The default for the first response (first token) is 30 seconds. For slow models, increase the time window in the settings up to 1 minute.
I see „Primary model unreachable…“. The primary model was unreachable; the app automatically tried the fallback model. Use „Resend“ if the message did not go through, or check the model choice and the API key.
The model download is large. Each speech model needs about 57 MB – once. Download it over Wi-Fi if possible.
How do I switch the recognition language? Recognition follows the UI language of the app. Switch the app language to German or English – the active model changes without download and without restart.
How do I set up a second bot? In the settings, create another bot: server URL with profile prefix (/p/<botname>/v1/chat/completions), your own API key, and your own model choice. Switch bots via the top bar dropdown.
I get no notification when the answer is ready. The notification appears only when the app runs in the background. Also check the notification permission for HermiVoice.
Why does the app warn about my http:// address? http:// transfers data unencrypted; the warning appears for addresses outside your local network. Use https:// via a reverse proxy – or a local IP if you stay in your home network.
My chat history is missing. The gateway is the source of truth, and the app synchronizes every 20 seconds in the foreground. Wait a moment or reopen the session. When deleting, the history is also removed via the server API (DELETE /api/sessions/{id}).
How do I back up my configuration? Use the config backup: the complete configuration is exported as passphrase-encrypted JSON (AES-256-GCM) and can be restored on another device.
When will the wake word mode („hey hermi“) come? The wake word mode is architecturally prepared but not yet active. As soon as it is enabled, you will read about it here.
I forgot my API key. API keys are stored encrypted in the app – reading them out is not intended. Simply enter the key again, or create a new one in the gateway.
