v1.0.152 is out and should settle this one. Widgets sitting over the account and password section had a specific cause: on macOS 26 the login group is pinned to the bottom of the screen instead of centred, and Notchy only knew the older centred layout — so the band it treated as free space was the login UI. It now knows both layouts, keeps clear of the login group and the big clock, and hides placement options that don't exist on your Mac. On the customisation request: a fair amount of that already exists — Settings → Lock Screen has which widgets show and in what order, placement (above/below the login group), alignment, vertical position, card density, single-strip vs stacked cards, and matched card heights. Worth a look after updating; if there's something specific from the Home tab editor you want up there that isn't covered, say which and I'll take it as a feature request. |

Notchy 1.0.191 retains the lock-screen placement controls and earlier login-UI clearance correction, with more secure-surface recovery work. If stacked cards still cover the login controls after updating, please send a current screenshot with personal details obscured and note the placement/card-density settings. The single-strip workaround and the stacked-card case remain distinct; I still need a retest of the latter. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
On the lock screen, the widgets are towards the bottom of the screen, over the account and password section. I don't know what else to say about this, but a proposed feature is to be able to customize the lock screen the way you can customize the home tab inside the notch.
