Reproduced and fixed in v1.0.152, out now. Your guess was right. A single click was walking more than one haptic path inside Notchy — the button style pulsed on the press, the setting it toggled pulsed on the new value, and in a few cases the action pulsed again — so on a Force Touch trackpad you felt Notchy's pulses stacked on top of the pad's own click. Chasing those one at a time would never have ended, so they now coalesce: pulses within a short window collapse into one, everywhere in the app. The only deliberate double left is the timer/pomodoro completion buzz, which is meant to be two. Thanks for the report — "not functional, just feels wrong" issues are the easiest ones to never notice from the inside. |

Hi! I've noticed a small issue when using Notchy on my MacBook with the built-in Force Touch trackpad.
When I perform a normal single click, it sometimes feels like I receive two haptic feedback pulses instead of one — almost like a double click, even though I only clicked once.
My guess is that Notchy might be triggering additional haptic feedback on top of the trackpad's native click feedback.
It's not a functional issue, but the double haptic sensation can feel a bit unnatural and makes clicks seem duplicated.
I'm not sure if this is intentional or if it's related to my specific setup, but I wanted to report it in case it can be reproduced.
Thanks for the great app btw!
