Calendar countdown - An actual countdown

[Vangjel-Gramozi]

Hi hi
I am really liking the the feel and the performance of the app. Something was was not quite right for me was the Upcoming event island.
For me it's very easy to miss the change in the notch for the reminder. It would be more helpful if it was an actual countdown, which stays active until the meeting starts or you click to join the meeting (even if it is 1 min later than the actual meeting start time).

Hey, good news — this already shipped. Since v1.0.142 the upcoming-event island isn't just a one-time banner: it turns into a persistent countdown chip in the notch (updates twice a second) that stays until the meeting starts, and even sticks around ~1 min after start so you don't lose the Join button right as it kicks off. Tap it to jump to the Home tab / join link.

If you're not seeing that, make sure you're on the latest version (Settings → About → Check for Updates) — Calendar reminders are on by default with a 10 min lead time, adjustable in Settings → Notifications.

Following up with Notchy 1.0.191: the persistent calendar countdown and Join action remain available, and meeting-link handling has also had reliability fixes since the original reply. Please check that Calendar reminders are enabled—new optional alerts can start off. If the countdown disappears before you can join, tell me the reminder lead time and how far before/after the meeting start it vanished.
