Thanks for separating this from the playlist-writing bug, and the French UI is no problem. Checkmarks for playlists that already contain the current track would make the picker clearer and help avoid duplicates. This wasn't added in 1.0.191. The main things to check before implementing it are how much playlist data Spotify exposes for your account and how to avoid fetching every playlist's contents each time the picker opens. I haven't verified that feasibility yet, so I'll keep this as a feature request rather than promise a release date. |

It would be really useful if the Add to Playlist feature could indicate whether the current track is already present in each playlist, similar to how Spotify handles it.
When opening the playlist selector in Spotify, playlists that already contain the current track are visually marked with a checkmark. This makes it easy to see at a glance where the track is already saved and helps avoid accidentally adding the same track multiple times.
Here's a GIF showing how Spotify handles this:
Sorry for the French UI in the recording 😄, it's just to give an idea of how the feature works.
I'm not sure whether Spotify's API makes it easy to retrieve this information without requiring too many additional requests, but if it's feasible, I think it would be a really nice improvement to the current playlist integration.
