To install, copy / update the example-settings.xml, and run:

mvn install -s example-settings.xml

vitro-1.10.0.tar.gz is just the installer, resolving all dependencies from Maven central.

It is recommended that you use the installer release

The Source code tar.gz and zip contains the full source code. Note that the example-settings.xml is in the installer folder, but you should execute mvn from the root folder.
