How to linearize gcode, machine doesn't do arcs

I have a 3018(control is "grbl 1.1 update") that appears to not accept G2 or G3 commands. I have seen a post saying bCNC can linearize the code, and have found the command in the cam screen. I have not been able to apply it to the gcode file I load.

Am I missing something here? I'm an oldschool machinist and I can't do anything without G2/G3, and Freecad's CAM function only outputs G2/G3 arcs.
