Platform Support

SD.Next is designed to be cross-platform, supporting a wide range of hardware and operating systems. Primary focus is on Linux, Windows and WSL, with some efforts to expand support to MacOS and other platforms.

For GPU architectures, support is split between primary platforms that are actively developed and tested, and secondary platforms that are no longer actively maintained due to lack of updates on upstream projects.

Primary GPU architectures

Secondary GPU architectures

Both ZLUDA and DirectML were primarily a stop-gap solutions for Windows users until native ROCm support was available and are no longer actively maintained. They may still work, but require installation of older versions of dependencies (primarily older PyTorch versions).
