I have published the write-up: https://www.mohammadsiddiqui.com/what-a-bank-would-ask-before-installing-the-vcommunity-management-pack/
It says plainly that this thread has had no reply yet, and the licence section sets out four ways this could go rather than arguing for one. Happy to update the post with your answer whenever you get to it.
The four, briefly:
PolyForm Internal Use 1.0.0 if the intent is “use it, do not sell it”. Same licence family, so a small change. Permits internal use by any organisation including commercial ones, and prohibits providing it to others as a product or service.
Apache 2.0 if reach matters more than protection. Worth noting that the Aria Operations Integration SDK this is built on is itself Apache 2.0, so it would put the pack in step with its own foundation.
An additional use grant, keeping the current licence and adding a paragraph permitting internal use including commercially while prohibiting redistribution and resale. Cheapest change available, nothing relicensed.
Leave it as it is, with a line near the top of the README so people evaluate it on that basis. Entirely legitimate.
One practical note: CONTRIBUTING invites contributions, so if anyone else now holds copyright in the repository a relicense would normally need their agreement. The grant avoids most of that.
Your call, and I am not pushing for one.
