Configuration of HoloRouter Failed. Encountered error

Hi,

Not sure what is going wrong here, following the guide on the website and I keep getting stuck at "Adding DNSMASQ server as the default DNS Server".

Hardly any log to be found or any real error. Redepoyed the HoloRouter, build new command. Nothing worked.

Reproduction steps

1. Deploy HoloRouter
2. New-HoloDeckConfig
3. New-HoloDeckInstance -Version "9.0" -vSANMode "ESA" -ManagementOnly -NsxEdgeClusterMgmtDomain -DeployVcfAutomation
4. Go through the questions, it's detecting the environment right (vCenter)
5. Exception: Exiting

Expected behavior

HoloDeck will deploy ESXi nodes and stuff

Are you using DHCP?

Can you upload the /root/error.log and /holodeck-runtime/logs/* files? Also, please share the output of "resolvectl status" command.

Wow, I've now configured an static IP and this error is gone.

Thanks! I would not have thought of that, still a bug though.

Do you still have use of the logs? I don't want to share the log files publicly, how would I best share those with you?

This is now fixed with the release of Holodeck 9.0.1 (#57). Thank you @consciabo for bringing this to our attention.
