Description

These packages are already available for Void on amd64, just not on aarch64. #54241 would no longer be an issue for me if I could simply used distro-packaged versions of the GHC suite. aarch64 is a Tier 1 platform for the GHC devs so it is well tested for this architecture already.

The reason I don't suggest adding Stack for aarch64 is because its support for aarch64 is experimental.

this is probably not possible so long as aarch64 is cross-compiled. ghc etc are massive pains to cross-compile
