💻 Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up the project locally on your machine.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js (v16.0.0 or higher recommended)
  • npm (usually comes with Node.js)

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/portfolio-website.git
    cd portfolio-website
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Start the development server:

    npm run dev

    The application will be available at http://localhost:5173.

📜 Scripts

  • npm run dev: Starts the local development server with HMR.
  • npm run build: Compiles TypeScript and builds the application for production.
  • npm run preview: Locally previews the production build.
  • npm run lint: Runs ESLint to check code quality.
