Couldn't get available versions for package vpietri/adm-quickdevbar

After installing via composer, navigating to the component manager and attempting to sign into the Magneto Marketplace to sync purchases gives the following error;

Couldn't get available versions for package vpietri/adm-quickdevbar

This appears to be a Magento related issue, magento/magento2#6718
