Devtools Chrome extension slows down network request start time

An overview of how long it took for a page to fully load with vuejs devtools Chrome extension enabled:

This is with the extension disabled:

Works fine on Firefox

Experience the same issue with the Vue extension for Chrome enabled, but when I switch to the Vite plugin, the problem disappears.
