This is the fourth public draft of the Web Sustainability Guidelines (WSG's) 1.0 and its accompanying documents.

The following changes have been made since v1.0-D3:

Additions:

• Living Draft version of STAR has been published to our repository. (@AlexDawsonUK & @timfrick)
• [#2] Guidance for WGs / CGs wishing to discuss or frame Sustainability within their own output has been added. (@OR13)
• [#62] Added a Success Criteria to 2.12 on ensuring source code readability and maintainability. (@airbr)

Updates:

• Mirrored the abstracts of the supplements with contribution details. (@AlexDawsonUK)
• [#21] High quality sources that quantify impacts are now cross-referenced to guidelines. (@andy-blum, @tantek & @youenchene)
• [#65] Resolved the terminology around users vs visitors. (@thibaudcolas)

Fixes:

• Added a useful link to the introduction supplement. (@nahuai)
• Added missing contribution references to the introduction supplement. (@AlexDawsonUK)
• Added numerous abbreviations into the quick reference. (@AlexDawsonUK)
• Broken links and redirects have been resolved or removed. (@AlexDawsonUK)
• [#63] Provided clarity around the terminology use surrounding Web Accessibility. (@thibaudcolas)

• Unresolved issues haven't been forgotten! They will be progressed in a future draft.
