Investigate importing registry data from an external file

It would be helpful if registry data were held in a separate file and included and transformed into the table presentation in the spec, so that the registry data could more easily be reused in other contexts, such as validators.

Investigate use of Respec's data-oninclude functionality to see if this is feasible.

great idea and this should our life easier.
one question, what kind of data format do you assume? something in XML file like in profiles directory, or xsd for xml-schemas? If former, we could convert with loading via DOMParser within oninclude JS callback, but I have no good idea for latter - incl. recent discussion to drop XSLT from web platform - of course parsing as just XML could work??...
(for former, I think I could contribute some coding)
