macOS and iOS should have distinct entries, because they're supported by different IRC clients and versions thereof.
It seems likely that different clients will support different minimum OS versions, not only for iOS and macOS. I would suggest adding notes of such for all listed OS to this README.
I have not yet reviewed all the listed tools for macOS and iOS for such compatibility. I may find time to do so, but someone else may be faster.
