I suppose the handling of rdfDirection (which can be set to i18n-datatype or compound-literal in 1.1) is intentionally left out of scope for this PR?

yes. This PR started as part of my action to include processing of RDF dirLangString, but I realized that reviewing it would be easier if all these "clerical" changes were out of the way. |
