Composition of Functional needs #416

Refer to Proposed Conformance Level Slides:
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1DlDxp8MCYXj3RWnFCCz13zsmM2fV4Wf8NbECKogdul8/edit?slide=id.g39fd5db5083_2_0#slide=id.g39fd5db5083_2_0

I understand this is work in progress.

  1. Is there scope to group some needs into one category so that the list is rationalized to make it shorter? This mainly relates to the first list of needs in Slide# 6.
Example: executive function can include attention spells, memory, reasoning, perception processing etc.
Can anxiety be a disability by itself (as listed as a functional need) or does it manifest in something else long term that is already listed?
    Reference:
    https://neurolaunch.com/is-executive-dysfunction-a-disability/

  2. Is it possible to point to specific reasoning / documentation for including: language, knowledge, fitness as functional needs?
When does not knowing a language result in a condition that warrants accommodation for a disability condition?
Knowledge: If one does not have the subject matter knowledge then content may still not be understandable even if the content is in a language the user knows.
Fitness: This seems very broad / general. Maybe it is covered in one of the other needs / disability conditions?

Thanks
