WCAG 3 (the primary normative text)
- Provisions
- Conformance
Other rec-track documents or appendices:
- Standard Keyboard commands (currently in a doc)
- Default Accessibility Support Set (possibly a registry of support-sets)
- Registries (Currently exploring as a solution to internationalization of readability of text criteria per language/script.)
How to documentation (per provision)
- Methods: How to implement provisions.
- Provision level role based guidance, if necessary/available
- Tests: How to test provisions.
Policy guidance
- For policy makers, questions to explore when integrating WCAG with legislation / regulations.
Mapping
- Mapping between WCAG 2 and WCAG 3
Scoping and reporting
- Similar to WCAG-EM, how to scope/sample, and how to do conformance reporting.
- WCAG-EM tool - not within AGWG scope
- Assertion generator? - not within AGWG scope
Note: These are important but not within AGWG’s scope. Other areas of WAI would work on these.
- Landing page and access point for broader information
- Connect into or includes existing WAI resources ** Tips for getting started ** How people with disabilities use the web
- Role-based guidance & materials: Tips for achieving accessibility per provision.
There is the possibility that work on certain well-defined areas will progress to a high level of maturity ahead of the whole document. This affords the opportunity to release these separately for broader use.
- Potential module: Color contrast (copy of what is in WCAG3, an interim doc)
- Potential module: Assertions (copy of what is in WCAG3, an interim doc)
To keep in mind, if WCAG 3 does not address them:

- WCAG2Mobile

WCAG3 is a project of the W3C Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (AGWG). Research and prototyping was done by the Silver Task Force. Archival and additional material for this project can be found on the Silver wiki and the Silver Github wiki.
This Wiki page is edited by participants of the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group. It does not necessarily represent consensus and it may have incorrect information or information that is not supported by other Working Group participants, WAI, or W3C. It may also have some very useful information.
