Describe the bug

As title, the image may not be clear enough, but it really impact on user experience.

I'm not a pro, but it seems like the problem of renderer instead of a specific bug; maybe the renderer needs a huge refactor or changes to another (if you were using 3rd party renderer).

Maybe blur is not an exact word, but it really makes the eyes uncomfortable.

I remember a while back i also used it within WSL (currently this seems not possible) where it was rendered acceptable.

To me the 'blur' makes me feel sick using Warp; hopefully some improvements can be made in the future :)

I have the same issue! Tried on multiple computers, win10 and win11. Both 1440p monitors.

This looks like it's not performing subpixel-antialiasing (or cleartype in windows)

For the love of god can this development team for the windows versions please fix the damn window font? It is an eyesore on Windows. Absolutely horrible to work with. I feel like I have a poorly rendered KDE window open.

Any news, cause on a 1440p screen is impossible to read without scaling the window by 125%

I raised a complaint to the Warp Community Preview slack channel where the devs are and got this response:

Hey aloskam88, really appreciate you pushing on this this. We totally get it -- font sharpness and UI scaling on Windows is an important issue and absolutely on our radar internally.
You’re right that it’s currently a rough spot, especially on high-res displays, and we’re aware that it’s a blocker for some users. It's not a quick fix due to our UI framework, but it's something we care about and want to address meaningfully. I'll share any updates that we may have here

Not really much of a response but I suppose it's "something". Would be nice if they could at least indicate its being worked on.

In Warp the fonts are not rendered as sharp and clear as Konsole (KDE terminal app). I took a screen shot with both side-by-side using the same colors, same fonts, and same sizes. I asked an AI tool to check the images and it said there was a big difference in font clarity, which agrees with what my are were telling me.

I cannot find any theme or any font setting that will make Warp render fonts as clearly as Konsole. The eye strain is enough reason to make me stop using Warp.

BTW, I know this issue title includes "Windows" but I'm seeing this on Arch Linux / KDE Plasma 6.

+1 I would love to use Warp as a daily driver. But the font rendering is not good. At a certain point, my eyes just can't keep the strain. Please consider this issue as a priority.
