When using TTab on Mac

New tabs are opened in the inbuilt terminal, instead of wap

To reproduce

Run a command with ttab like 'ttab -G runui && cdui && code .'

Expected behavior

A new tab should open in warp, and run the specified command

Unsure if warp has it's own command to put into aliases but would be great of it did, removing the need for ttab entirely

It works in iTerm, but that may be because ttabs devs has done work to do so

Yes, this issue prevents me from using Warp daily.

Yes, this I confirmed this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.

Hi @frankie-swrve Appreciate you submitting this. Since TTabs's supported terminal list is hard coded, you'd need to open a new issue with them as well for support with Warp terminal. We'd also have to work with them to implement a way for new tabs to be opened programmatically as well so changing this to a feature request.

As a stopgap, we have the Launch Configurations features which you can use to open a set of Windows/Tabs/Panes in Warp.

To provide some context: ttab is a Bash script that synthesizes AppleScript commands for controlling Terminal.app (the native macOS terminal app) and iTerm2.app (a popular third-party replacement). Later, support for the Gnome Terminal (Linux) was added, based purely on the latter's CLI.

Given that, AppleScript and a CLI are the only realistic integration options.

@dannyneira, are there any plans to support either / both? Given the planned multi-platform support, a CLI would be the better option (though note that ttab doesn't support Windows).

This is a main reason I stopped using Warp and reverted to Terminal, but seeing if Launch Configurations does the trick before I fully bail
