Describe the solution you'd like?

Please implement support for custom AI API endpoints, such as Azure OpenAI, or integration with LiteLLM to allow users to connect their own infrastructure and managed language models directly to the terminal's AI features. This addition would provide greater flexibility for enterprise environments with strict data residency requirements and enable the use of diverse model providers beyond the default options, ensuring that users can leverage their existing API credits and private deployments for a more tailored and cost-effective workflow.

Yes, this feature request is related to a significant problem. We currently have access to substantial credits via a startup programme on Azure and I would like to utilise my own deployed AI models; however, I am currently unable to do so within the application.

This would be wonderful. We have strict AI usage and data privacy guidelines that require me to disable all the AI features of Warp. I would imagine most large companies have similar restrictions.

At my employer we also have our own AI environment which encapsulates our "central" Claude / ChatGPT / ... API keys. We get an API key to our own AI toolbox instead. So it would be great if our own API keys would work with WARP, too.

As other AI tools support custom API keys, but WARP does not, this is seen as a disadvantage of WARP by several of my colleagues which now use other tools instead of WARP.

So IMHO supporting custom API keys could in addition be a selling point for WARP and lead to a wider use of WARP.
