Hello,

I have Huawei Mateview 28,5" dual monitor setup with Macbook Pro 16" 2021 with Apple M1 Pro. I am using macOS Tahoe 26.3.1. After installation monitorcontrol, my second monitor is no longer works. I could only enable it with a very low brightness, when i increase the brightness from monitor or app, it goes dark. I am not able use my second monitor now. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. I also added monitor reports as an attachment, i hope it helps.

As far as I remember the MateView had some firmware issue related to DDC. You can try using BetterDisplay's DDC Factory Reset option if the firmware supports it. Alternatively it is possible that the display expects a different DDC brightness range, you can try modifying that.

(note: MonitorControl lite does not use DDC, so if the issue is related to that, then I am not sure what the problem is).

How could i remove the application completely? I tried to change random ddc now betterdisplay even doesnt work, it exits completely when i try to launch, i unnstalled and installed back but it still same.

Normally you can simply move the application to the trash, just like with any other application. The app does not install any separate background process, so no need to get rid of anything else.
