Describe the bug

I press record on the HUD and do my thing.

I press done so i go to the editor.

In the editor, only about 50% of the video i did is there.

Expected behavior

I expect everything recorded to be inside the editor

Could you give more details of what is happening please?

Do you mean the clip is shortened by 50% or the actual video is cut by 50% or the editor shows a full clip track but the clip ends at half of what you expect?

Hi!

For example, i just recorded 30 seconds. But in the editor, i only see 20 seconds.

There is nothing for me to drag. Nothing to scroll. So it seems my recording are cut short.

I experienced the same thing. If I record like a 35 second clip, the final video only shows 26 seconds of the recording.

This looks likely related to the same Windows recording-duration family as #400 / PR #409, but one split would help confirm it.

Could you confirm whether system audio was enabled in the 30s -> 20s repro? If possible, one quick retest with system audio disabled would tell us whether this is the same system-audio/native-finalization path or a separate recording cutoff.

Does that mean i just need to turn my Windows sound off before i start recording to test?
