Initial release.

  • Adds a ChatGPT Account provider to the WordPress AI Client.
  • Sign in with your ChatGPT account from Settings → Connectors using a one-time device code. No OpenAI API key.
  • Text generation with the GPT models on your plan, including chat history, structured JSON output and function calling.
  • Image generation with GPT Image 2.
  • Tokens stored encrypted and refreshed automatically.

Requires: WordPress 7.0+, PHP 7.4+, AI Provider for OpenAI, and device code login enabled under ChatGPT → Settings → Security.

Warning

Not an official OpenAI integration. It uses the Codex CLI's public OAuth client and the undocumented ChatGPT backend Codex uses. OpenAI may change or block it, and using a ChatGPT subscription outside OpenAI's apps may conflict with OpenAI's Terms of Use and put your account at risk.
