This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
Copy the example env file and adjust as needed:
cp .env.example .envGoogle Maps:
- The map renders via Leaflet + OpenStreetMap — no API key required.
- Set
GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEYif you want optional server-side Places/Geocoding augmentation in/api/farms.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
This repo includes a separate Node/Express API (in server/) that can serve the same /api/* endpoints.
- Start Express + Next together:
USE_EXPRESS_BACKEND=1 npm run dev:all- Or start them separately:
npm run server:dev
npm run devnpm testRun end-to-end tests (starts next dev --webpack automatically):
npm run e2eOr open the interactive runner:
npm run cypress:opendocker compose up --buildYou can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
