There is also an important audience we haven't talked about so far: the GWT users! They often complain about the slow compilation time of GWT, and the old fashion UI toolkit (historically) embed with GWT. So they should be interested by WebFX which solves both of these problems (JavaFX as modern UI toolkit + you can develop with the OpenJFX runtime without the need to compile each code change with GWT). So I would say we should target first JavaFX users, and second GWT users (which looks logical as WebFX is the marriage between these 2 technologies). What do you think? |

The purpose of this discussion is to decide what audience the website should target, so we can make the content better oriented for them.
This topic has already been discussed in the first discussion #1 and this thread is the continuation.
Ivan has already listed many different targets, but I was wondering if we should start small with "only" the JavaFX developers?
Because the WebFX project is for now too small to face a big audience (ex: all java developers).
So why not targeting JavaFX developers first, and see how it goes (and perhaps this will generate already too much support for the size of the project).
What do you think?
