Q: Does the idea of supporting this in a Container make sense?

I love the idea of containers for just about everything especially with my Docker setup but given this is a tool to manage the Server, may not really be ideal however I thought I'd ask. Would a monitoring tool like this make sense to have a container install option for? And would it have the needed access to all the hardware or is there a way to map it to all the hardware?
This would make for updates and upgrades super easy and a quicker deployment but then again, I'm one that is good with the overall server tools directly installed too. ;) Just a thought and question if it's been considered.

Do you mean a container install for Webmin? That probably wouldn't make sense for more use-cases, as it's a system admin tool that is supposed to manage the entire system, so constraining it to a container would limit what it can do.
