Add links to individual runs directly to the summary table

👋 Just an idea when working with the summary table, it would be super useful to add a clickable link as another column. What do you think?

Hey @tinazhouhui , yeah, I think that's a good idea. I vaguely remember trying to add them and the issue might have been with the markdown syntax on the core library. In this case, would the link be to the workflow job that the check is created from? (assuming its created through GitHub Actions). And am thinking perhaps just having it as a link clickable from the check name rather than a separate column - not sure how the display might look like with a new column but definitely something we could trial and see. You can have a go at it, I can also try both ways to see how it looks like in the UI.

Not at all, I use it myself 😄.
I tried to remove the default link styling in the Actions job summary, but GitHub appears to re-style/sanitize links during rendering, so custom link attributes do not stick. You could have a go and see if there is a workaround to render the check name as a link without the underline.

Seems there is no way to get it not to add those default styles, I think we could add a new column and link the details_url of the check run to it, we could use the check run ID as the text to anchor the link so it doesn't eat too much screen real estate. Below is what it looks like:

I published v2.5.0, which now shows the links to the checks url in the summary, updated v2 to its snapshot!
